Job Skills Training

Our comprehensive Job Skills Training curriculum guides participants through every stage of the job search process. In small‐group workshops, guests learn how to craft a compelling resume and cover letter highlighting their strengths, practice mock interviews with feedback from volunteer career coaches, and build essential computer skills—from email and online applications to using spreadsheets for workplace tasks. We also cover professional etiquette, time management, and goal‐setting techniques to help individuals thrive on the job once they’re hired. By pairing each participant with a dedicated mentor and offering ongoing support and networking opportunities, we empower our community members to transition from training into stable, long-term employment.
